Penn State Mining Engineering
The mining engineering program at The Pennsylvania State University is globally recognized for its world-class education. The program was ranked 13th globally according to the QS rankings of 2024 (QS World University Rankings, 2024). All students enrolled in the program have several internship opportunities and have received multiple job offers before graduation.
Other College of Earth and Mineral Sciences programs were also ranked among top 25 institutions globally (Penn State College of Earth and Mineral Sciences rankings).

The program has six full-time faculty members with unique specializations. The faculty work in close collaboration with the mining industry and other federal and state agencies on cutting-edge research.
